Inspired by the Wario Land series, Pizza Tower is a fast-paced 2D platformer with a focus on moving attacks, exploration, and scoring. The songs in this game are full of energy and high style pixel art from the 90s cartoons.
The Pizza Tower game was created by indie developer Tour De Pizza and distributed via the Steam store for Windows and the Steam Deck. To preserve his pizzeria, Peppino Spaghetti, a pizza chef, must navigate the game's eponymous tower.
Control Peppino Spaghetti as he moves through the tower's many floors. Each of the tower's five floors has four levels and a boss (except for Level 5, which instead has three levels and a boss). Five Toppins (small animals that look like pizza) are limited to each level, and the player must free them to earn the coins and points needed to access the boss levels. The player must assemble and bring the gatekeeper Gerome to the entrance to unlock the door that hides the treasure. Most levels have three secret rooms, quick short quests that reward extra points and speed up level completion.
